What really surprised me is that it says you can sing! Is that true?

Nothin' that special, not like I'm Lady Junah or somethin'.

Oh, yes! My brother and I cared for each other as we grew up, and I usually did the cooking for the two of us. Did you get to try much mustari cuisine while you were in our village?

Had a fair bit, yeah. It was good, from what I can remember.

[ which isn't necessarily that much, when most of it was probably just different kinds of soup and he was barely conscious for half of it, but. ]

Always thought Brilehaven was the undisputed winner when it came to seafood, but you could give 'em a run for their money.

... It has been a lot to take in, hasn't it? But I think I will be all right.

Oh, I am so glad to hear that! I'd heard that our food is often not to the tastes of outsiders.

If I can find the right ingredients, I'd like to make some here, too.

I did, yeah. Didn't hardly know him personally, but it still seemed pretty clear that he wasn't himself, 'specially considering how others have talked about him.

... I've heard the same. It is troubling, to say the least. What could cause a man to change like that...?

That's what I want to know. Was sort of wonderin' if it was anything like that curse on the prince. Somethin' someone else did to him that could be reversed if we found the source.

[ honestly hoping it is because at least that would mean they could do something about it if it happens again. ]

Haven't got a clue what the motive would be, though.

... If only I could see things as I normally do, I surely would have noticed something...

[ if it was indeed a curse or some other magic, anyway. ]

'S not your fault. You didn't lose it, they took it.

...Might not be a bad idea to try to ask for it back under the circumstances. Preventing more shite like this should be more important than whatever unfair advantage they think it'd give you.

You think they would consider such a request?

No idea, but you won't know 'til you ask, yeah?

True. I think I would like to try, then. It seems better than simply waiting and hoping that tragedy will not strike again.
