Perhaps. But it's hard to think of something viable, short of drugging or restraining everyone before midnight.

That... would be very difficult, I think. And it would likely introduce even more ways that one could kill...

I'd say it's more like downright impossible. Who's going to tie up the last person, to begin with? And who could guarantee any drugs we find will be safe to consume? I bet someone will still suggest it in all seriousness, though.

Well... I would not fault anyone for wanting to suggest something other than waiting to see what happens. But you are right, in that we must think carefully before acting recklessly.
