[ yikes! yves is just exploring one of the areas where the bodies were found, vibes apprehensive. he's more serious today than any other day and bc i forgot to mention it in curfew the night before, he does have a sword at his side again finally yay

he looks up and waves ]

Eupha. I'm glad you're okay.

[trifocal]

[ eupha's vibes are quite calm, but in a well-practiced sort of way. she gives him a faint smile. ]

And I am glad to see you unharmed.

... Are you trying to anticipate what we might find tomorrow, by any chance?

[noirges]

[ he looks around and then back at her ]

Sort of... I'm trying to remember how things look now, so that if I'm sent out tomorrow and if there's anything out of place, I can recall it better.

[trifocal]

Oh... that is a good idea. It is difficult to rely on our memories from days ago.

[noirges]

[ smiles faintly ]

Wanna walk around with me then, so we both get a refresher?

[trifocal]

I would be glad to.

[ a glance at the sword... ] You have a sword now?

[noirges]

I do.

[ he nods and lets his hand rest on it casually, familiarly ]

One of the items we received from our journey last week let me craft one for myself... so I'm relieved to have it back. This was the longest I'd been without it.

[trifocal]

You were able to craft it? [ a little impressed, and happy for him. ]

I had wondered, briefly, if it was possible for us to exchange such items in the mail. If there are limitations, they are as of yet unknown to me...

[ we were able to send ALL OF THE EGGS, after all... ]

[noirges]

Mm-hmm, so I fashioned it off the one I had at home. [ it's a rapier specifically, as opposed to a normal sword ]

But... maybe? They've been asking me to send all sorts of stuff...

[trifocal]

What have they been asking for?

[noirges]

Shoes, cigarettes, Halloween accessories...

[trifocal]

Are they lacking in clothing and luxuries?

[noirges]

Maybe? They've been sending me flowers and food, though. Adolphe cute some apples really cute for me.

[ he is so spoiled even across the living/dead divide ]

You could always ask them what they need.

That's so sweet...

I did receive a flower and some accessories. [ everyone is cute. ] That's a good idea, though.

[noirges]

[ smiles ]

Right? I've been just sending them what they ask for... It's been fun. It feels like they aren't so far, even though I do still miss them.

[ and there's just a little dash of longing in his feelings to reflect that ]

I think that they are indeed close to us...

If only we can find more ways to breach whatever it is that separates us.

[noirges]

If you send dreams back and forth, they seem to go through okay.

Send... dreams?

You mentioned a dream that seemed to come from Adolphe. Do you know how that was done?

[noirges]

There are items that send dreams. I don't know if that's specifically what he did...

But I sent him one back after. Apparently that one went through without becoming weird at the end. He told me in a letter that he received it.

[trifocal]

Oh...! That is good.

[ pleased! ]

... It was not a dream, but I was gifted with a waking vision of the healing souls. An opportunity to see them with my own eyes.

[noirges]

Ah—is this the one you experienced with Marcoh? Or something else?

[trifocal]

Did he tell you about it? Yes, that was it.

[noirges]

[ smiles ]

I barged into his room and we ended up talking about it. That's good.

It really does feel like they might not be that far.

[trifocal]

Yes... It seemed as though they were able to see one another's memories, as we did before. Wherever they are, I believe it must be a place in Heaven.

[noirges]

I think so... or someplace close.

They have their own angels who look out for them, at least. Kiraman, Lailah, and Mary, if you haven't gotten to say hi to them. They also reply to mail.
