You know how when you will your body to move, it does?
For right now, I can talk, run, jump, just like everyone else. Eventually I'll start doing that slower than other people, until at some point I can't do any of it at all.

That's terrible...
The "device" you have was a medical device, was it? Is it meant to help with this...?
