Just... things, ways. I wonder sometimes if it was not the right choice, to take on the responsibility to raise her on my own. She may have had a happier life in a real home.
But I too was raised by my older brother, and I would not have had it any other way. There was no greater joy for me, than to spend every day with the person I loved most.
