... Why would they go to the flower garden? The diner and the funhouse were in the same area that the deceased were found. There would be no reason at all to go so far away from the scene of the murder. Unless...

It's possible. But I also haven't spoken to people from every location. I'm assuming it's more than just those three. There could be more. And if there is, I'd say the person deliberately tracked everyone down after the killing was done. You'd need a lot of extra time to cover that kind of ground.
I can understand if they came across a number of people by looking around their vicinity... but it would be quite strange for them to go all the way to the flower garden if they did not already know there were people there.
