... I suppose it would be naive to hope that this would get easier, rather than harder.

We have to remember, we are all getting more experience at doing this. Even future killers.

Although, I was speaking of the emotional toll, more than the difficulty of the cases... though it seems we did fail to solve one.

I suppose that is understandable... There is little that we can do about what's already done.

Now is the time to focus on what we can do now, and on easing our anxieties so that we may be prepared to face the coming day.

At the very least, I think the people here are rather decent at checking in with each other.

And we generally work well together, aside from the occasional emotional outbursts.
