This whole time we always thought it'd never be more than one person gettin' hit with that affliction every week. That any time it was two, it was 'cause one of 'em chose to do it for their own benefit.

It does mean that the chances of any specific person being compelled in some fashion is higher than we previously thought.

... To put it another way, we know more now than we did before. We will be more prepared for what's to come. And... we know what needs to be done.

...At least we've got pretty solid evidence that everyone who dies really is still around and not unreachable now.

We will need to find a way to strengthen that connection. But I think we will be able to save them.
