Truthfully, it was Basilio I was most worried about. If I and the others had succeeded in that battle, we would have gone on to meet the day that you would have perished. If you then lived... It would be Basilio, whose life was surely set on a different path because of those events, whose timeline would be separated from ours.
The angels assured me that this will not come to pass, however. Perhaps we may choose a day that we all return to at once?
They said before that they wouldn't send us back to the same spot just to die again, so there's some leeway there. Figure they should be able to send us all back to that night we thought Louis was dead, or the next morning when he came back, now that we won't be caught off guard by it.
[ he is probably not going to attempt to stop louis from killing forden, since that's going to need to happen at some point regardless... but then again, maybe if they can get the real lance back that night...

...I asked him the other day, if he really wanted to go back that far and have to live through all the shite that happened in that month again, knowing some of the worst of it's gonna be unavoidable. And he said he did, so.
