she'll start poking around the bookshelves now... and finds a book to start flipping through. honestly, thoughtshare is pretty useless for eupha most of the time, because while she's reading she nods for a bit, then turns the page and shakes her head. ]
[ not like he really had any anyway, igniters aside, but he still feels bad that they blinded her eye... but also help i love you eupha
he'll walk along the bookshelves looking at the titles but not picking anything up just yet... and eventually pause and glance over at her. might be a good time to ask...? ]
[ wasn't that supposed to be some kind of restaurant guy... is satan a restaurant guy ]
...Er, yeah. I was just wondering if you'd given any thought to what you wanted to do about goin' back to Euchronia, assuming what Yves said last week about timelines and all that was accurate.
Truthfully, I had asked about something similar before. I received assurances from the angels that we may indeed be able to mend our timelines together in a way that none of us need be left behind, so to speak.
[ she wasn't sure how to bring it up, but then yves made that announcement, bringing them roughly onto the same page. ]
Ideally, that is what I would like... but what do you think?
What, combining 'em into one, like? Didn't know somethin' quite like that was on the table.
[ that seems like a lot of power for anything to have over a world... ]
But yeah, that was sort of what Bas and me were talkin' about, that if goin' to a different timeline was an option, then maybe you'd want to just come over to ours. Pick up pretty much where you left off, except you won this time.
[ there is a warm smile at that. so fidelio was thinking about this all along... no, of course he was. ]
It seems our hopes are aligned. I would be glad to.
Truthfully, it was Basilio I was most worried about. If I and the others had succeeded in that battle, we would have gone on to meet the day that you would have perished. If you then lived... It would be Basilio, whose life was surely set on a different path because of those events, whose timeline would be separated from ours.
The angels assured me that this will not come to pass, however. Perhaps we may choose a day that we all return to at once?
They said before that they wouldn't send us back to the same spot just to die again, so there's some leeway there. Figure they should be able to send us all back to that night we thought Louis was dead, or the next morning when he came back, now that we won't be caught off guard by it.
[ he is probably not going to attempt to stop louis from killing forden, since that's going to need to happen at some point regardless... but then again, maybe if they can get the real lance back that night...
well, he's still got time to work on the plan. ]
...I asked him the other day, if he really wanted to go back that far and have to live through all the shite that happened in that month again, knowing some of the worst of it's gonna be unavoidable. And he said he did, so.
[ her smile brightens at that. though there wasn't much doubt in her mind that basilio would agree to such a thing, if it would mean doing it again with his brother at his side. any sibling would choose the same. ]
Then we have the beginnings of a plan. We need only decide on the details... on exactly how we will outmaneuver Louis.

Oh! It is just... This book seems to describe Hell quite accurately, but they appear to have taken some creative liberties with the illustrations.

Yeah. Maybe we can do sort of a strategy meeting about that at some point this week. See what we're all thinkin' and go from there.
