[ out in the garden by the church, there is the smell of incense in the air and a feeling of great calmness. if you look, you will see eupha sitting on the ground in front of a little portable altar that's been set up with incense burning.
her eyes are closed (the lower two, anyway) and her body is very still, save for rhythmic breathing.
you can join her, or interrupt her... though if you linger because you're too polite to do one of those things, she may notice you before long. ]
[ well, the good news is that eupha does have some spacial awareness, and soon becomes aware of koharu's presence. she blinks a few times, the upper eye not quite in sync with the lower ones, then looks upward to see her.
there is a little warmth when she does. she doesn't seem bothered by the intrusion. ]
Oh, it's you, Koharu. I was just meditating... It helps to clear the mind on days like this.
[ Okay, seeing the third eye act independently does take Koharu by surprise, but she tries not to show it. Instead, she glances around at Eupha's set-up, and after taking a moment to think about it, settles cross-legged across from her. ]
I've never done it before, but honestly... I could probably use it.
[ Unlike Eupha, there's a not-so-subtle air of anxiety on Koharu's end. ]
... Sorry, I'm thinking about it too hard. Um—let me try again.
[ Counting should help. Koharu falls silent again, and with a deep breath, she begins. One, two, three, four, exhale. One, two, three, four, exhale... When there's numbers to think about, it does keep her mind from drifting elsewhere.
And the air about her buzzes less and less as the minutes pass. ]

Just breathing... Okay. That's all I got to do.
[ It isn't too different from what Siffrin's showed her before. Koharu's eyes close, hands settled in her lap, and tries focusing. ]
